Whenever there is injustice and evil, there are
those who fight to preserve what is good and what is right.
For many years dwarves and gnomes have shared the same mountains,
the same hills, the same mines. Times have changed now, and
gnomes have retreated from their ancestral homes and beloved lands
to organize the fight from within the Mokk.
In the region of Ostrfraunk, resistance dwarves and gnomes fight
the Mokk at every turn. The region is filled lots of wild
game in narrow valleys between steep hills. Much to the consternation
of Istlur, Ostfraunk is an ideal base for rebels. Gnomes and
rebel dwarves strike where they can, raiding supply trains for resources.
Gnome imagination and ingenuity combines with the rough terrain
to produce the next logical step in the rebels attack: the
gnome ornithopter. Not yet operational, gnomes expect to unleash
this terror on dwarves by summer time.
Resistance players are forbidden from taking Stouttroopers.
Not only would these party fanatics not fight for the resistance,
the resistance simply doesnt have access to the materials
required to custom make a suit of dwarven plate. Resistance
players are encouraged to scrounge up as many loose gnomes as possible
and scatter them in amongst the common troops. The gnomes
are statted exactly like their dwarven counter parts [for now],
but they are very important for setting the feel of a dwarven rebel
force. The dwarves may select any troop from the Folksmakt
troop list and no more than 25% of their force may be composed of
troops taken from the Mokks Army list. [This is to reflect
the shortage of good supplies in the resistance.] See
