Fosiah Zice never cared much
for politics, so he paid little heed to the meteoric rise of Oregang
Istlur. Though driven from his fathers grandfathers
grandfathers home and from his family business; Fosiah still
cares little for politics. He does not blame Istlur or his cronies
for what has happened to him. Fosiah blames those dwarves and gnomes
who will not pick up a weapon and fight to strike down the tyranny
that reigns in (what was) his nation. There are some who call Fosiah
a thief (because of his raids on any caravan that does not oppose
Dagmokk), but there are also those who call Fosiah a hero.
Guerillas are often short on weapons, men and material, so they
must use the one advantage they do have: timing. The best guerilla
gets to pick the time and place for the battle. This often means
catching the opponent unaware or out of position. In game terms,
Fosiah Zice (who has Guerilla Tactics A1) may chose which side of
the board to defend. Additionally, each time an opposing player
places a unit, the gnome player may move the unit in any direction
a number of inches equal to that units Footspeed. If the unit
is an engine of war, Fosiah may either move the engine, or cause
it to be limbered and unable to fire in turn one. This
action may only be taken on 3 separate units and this option must
be selected immediately after the unit is placed or Fosiah declines
to redeploy this unit.
