His estate Andronica is small, including
a few fields of crops and a rocky patch of grazing land. Visitors
will often find him in the field alongside his serfs, working his
own land. His nails are dirty; his skin is leathered; his voice
is gravely and deep, but he is a noble in Sinepacia--a land that
squelches all pretensions in the grim fight to survive.
Dorjan of Andronica is a vicious
enemy, who expects no quarter and gives none. Long after the battle
is done, Dorjan is the man you will find walking among the corpses
with a spear in hand. He gigs each body, just to make sure the fallen
are truly dead. While other nobles are feasting their triumphs,
he is burning the bodies to make certain the dead will not walk
again. Dorjan speaks little and his tone is both unsettling and
at times incoherent, but in battle he transforms into a beacon of
certainty in a storm of disorder. Where the sane would panic, Dorjan
is at his best. On a personal level, most people dislike Dorjan,
but none can deny that he is a man with a knack for Leadership.
Dorjan always dismounts in combat and fights on his own two feet
like all other Sinepaxian nobles. Dorjan only uses his horse to
get quickly from one point to another. Mounting/dismounting costs
1", and may only be done at the start or at the very end of
movement.
DORJAN'S WEAPON: Dorjan carries a magic sword called Steelblaze
that glows with searing heat. This blade causes an additional 2d6
of damage (already figured in stats). Steelblaze acts as a normal
sword versus fire-based creatures and the damage bonus doubles against
cold-based creatures. Steelblaze is a family heirloom and Dorjan
will risk everything to recover the weapon immediately should he
lose possession of it.
