Battle Cry (B2), Focus (B1), Shield Use (B2), Weapon Craft (B1)
A battle cry is a blood-curdling scream issued from an attacker
as he engages his opponent. The effect of the Battle Cry is to unnerve
an opponent causing the opponent to lose some of his cool and be
a bit more hesitant in his attacks. If an opponent makes his save
versus Battle Cry, he is immune to any repeat attempts unless the
combatants disengage. The effects of Battle Cry last d4 rounds,
during which time, additional Battle Cries have no effect. At the
end of the duration, the screamer may cry out again, but allow the
defender another save. The Cry will not affect allies in the area
of effect. The area of effect a radius 2" + ¼" per point
of user's CHA and the defender may save at 2d20 vs. COU. The Barbarian
Giant's effect is -4 to Cool, +3 to C.E.R.
