Roeg was a savage who was captured by Reavers and sold to a merchant in a major city. For quite some time, Roeg pretended to be docile dumb and mute. Eventually, Roeg's master relaxed his guard and Roeg escaped into the city where he was forced to steal to survive. Eventually he was caught stealing and while waiting for his trial, he prayed, for the first time in years, to Ti-Qorem. While he was praying, some humans came to free another prisoner. Most of the prisoners escaped, during the confusion. Roeg saw this as an answer to his prayer.

Running all night Roeg came to the ocean, where he saw a Reaver ship just off shore. He swam out to the ship and challenged the captain for the leadership of the tribe. At first the Reavers laughed in his face, but as he told them of how Ti-Qorem had answered his prayers, the Sea Reavers agreed to the challenge. Roeg wasn't very strong, but his speed allowed him to defeat the captain.

Since that time, Roeg has practiced his warrior skills, so that he can prove to his tribe that he is a strong leader. Anytime he feels that somebody will challenge him, he leads his men into battle and tries to kill more of the enemy then his rival.

Creating your own troops
The Battlestorm rulebook contains just about everything players need to create their own troops, monsters or heroes, except for the "official point cost" .  You'll find that the rulebook has all the information you need on armors, statistics, weapons and so forth.  If you are just creating stats for hoots and laughs feel free to fudge them as you like.  However, if you want them to be as compatible with creatures and troops in the Battlestorm book as possible, please read our guidelines on the subject.  The guidelines explain the basics of character creation and it includes an "automatic" calculator for use with Excel spreadsheets.   If you create any new or interesting creatures, we' love to read about them.
MIRACLES and HEXXES is on the way, but in the meantime, Battlestorm Basic has a nifty magic system
